Role Purpose
Ensure O Finance operates in full compliance with Banque du Liban (BDL), Banking Control Commission (BCC), AML/CFT regulations, and internal governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with BDL circulars, BCC regulations, and Lebanese code of money
- Maintain and update internal policies (AML, KYC, CDD, sanctions, governance)
- Oversee regulatory reporting and regulatory correspondence (FATF & CRS)
- Support internal audit, external audit, and BCC inspections
- Review contracts, SLAs, partnerships, and legal documentation
- Manage legal compliance risk assessments and remediation plans
- Ensure data protection and customer confidentiality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in law
- 5+ years of experience in a financial institution, bank, or regulated entity
- Strong knowledge of BDL regulations, AML/CFT, and compliance frameworks
- High integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CAMS or compliance certification is a strong plus
